Who I Am

Your One-Stop Hair Salon

Quinn's Beauty Bar first opened its doors in 2001, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. At the age of 17, my passion for hair took root, nurtured by early experiences as my sister's assistant at 15. From shampooing and blow-drying to braiding hair for weave installations, I discovered my true calling. Graduating at 18, I decided to turn my knowledge into a means of both self-sufficiency and personal growth in the adult world.

At 21, I enrolled in cosmetology school at Healthy Hair Academy in Inglewood, CA. A year of hard work, dedication, and perseverance led me to the pivotal moment of graduation. The realization dawned upon me that this was more than a mere hobby; it was my undying passion.

The joy I derive from knowing that my chair can transform how someone sees themselves is unparalleled. Establishing genuine connections with my clients is paramount because understanding them is the key to achieving their desired style or look.

In 2007, I embarked on my professional journey at Women of Color Hair Salon in Inglewood, CA. A decade later, feeling the need to broaden my horizons, I ventured into a new chapter. In 2014, I joined Harvest Studios in Northridge, CA, working as an assistant hairstylist. This opportunity arose through the recommendation of my sister, Neishea Lemle, a wardrobe stylist on the show. Working with notable celebrities such as Tamar and Towanda Braxton, Tiny from the group Escape, Kyla Pratt, Angie Stone, Dorian Wilson (Professor Ogolvee), and Omar Gooding was an enriching experience.

My motivation lies in the profound satisfaction of making people look and feel good. Now that you know a bit about me, remember, at Quinn's Beauty Bar, our slogan holds true: "We make you feel like a Star!"
